Free in-home water analysis

A Nuvia water specialist tests the water at your tap and shows you the numbers. Then you hear your options. The test is free and there is no obligation to buy.

What happens

  1. You ask for a test. Give your name, phone number and ZIP code in the form below, or call. A Nuvia specialist gets in touch to set a time.
  2. A specialist tests your water at the tap. They check hardness, chlorine and total dissolved solids (TDS), and the water you drink now.
  3. You see your numbers. Then the specialist explains which systems fit those numbers and your home. The decision is yours.

What the test checks

  • Hardness. Calcium and magnesium, the minerals behind scale. Measured in grains per gallon.
  • Chlorine. Public water is treated with chlorine or chloramine. The test shows your level.
  • TDS. How much is dissolved in your water, and whether a filter you already have is working.

The test is a water check, not a health screening. It does not diagnose anything about people.

Who the test is for

Homeowners in Orange County and the Inland Empire who want to know what is in their tap water. The usual reasons are spots on glasses, film on the shower door, crust on faucets, or a taste or smell at the tap. If you are weighing a whole-home system or a drinking water system, the numbers are the place to start.

Your water agency publishes an average for your city. See it on the hard water by city page. Your tap is the number that matters at your house, and the test measures that.

Questions people ask

Does the water analysis cost anything?

No. The test is free and there is no obligation to buy.

What does the test check?

Hardness, chlorine and total dissolved solids (TDS) at your tap, plus the water you drink now, such as the fridge or a filter. It is a water check, not a health screening.

Do you come to my area?

Nuvia serves Southern California, with a focus on Orange County and the Inland Empire. When you ask for a test, a specialist confirms your address.

How much does a system cost?

It depends on your home, your water and the system. A specialist goes through it with you once your numbers are in. This site does not print per-system prices.

Is hardness the same as what my water district reports?

Your water agency publishes a citywide figure. The test measures the water at your own tap. You can see what each agency reports on the hard water by city page.
