Effective October 27, 2026. This policy covers nuviawater.com, including pages used for advertising. It is published by Nuvia Water Technologies Inc. (Nuvia Water), 170 Vander Street, Unit B, Corona, CA 92878. California contractor license 969902. Questions: info@nuviawater.com or (951) 734-7400.
What we collect
What you send us. Forms ask for your name, phone number, and ZIP code. You can also give an email address, a note, a preferred day and time for a visit, and, on a service request, a street address. If you text us from the site, your phone opens a message to a Nuvia number, and we receive that message and your phone number. If you call, we receive the number you called from.
What the site records. Like most sites, we record the pages you visit, the site or ad that sent you, your device and browser type, a rough location based on your IP address, and advertising click IDs (such as a Google or Meta click ID). Some of this is collected with cookies, which are small files your browser stores. We also keep the page address and the campaign parameters that came with your visit, so we know which ad a request came from.
We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or health information on this site.
How we use it
- To call or text you about the request you sent: a free water consultation or in-home water analysis, a quote, a filter order, or customer service.
- To support existing customers.
- To send you a short confirmation email when you gave us an email address and the request went through.
- To see which pages and ads lead to requests, so we spend less showing ads to people who would not want them.
- To keep the site running and to block spam.
Agreeing to calls or texts is not required to buy from us.
Texts
Some pages say, before you submit, that Nuvia may call or text you about your request. The Help sheet also lets you start a text to Nuvia on your own phone. Customer-support texts use our business texting service.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Reply HELP for help, or call (951) 734-7400. We do not share your text-message consent, or the phone number you used to opt in, with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information with companies that help us run the business:
- Vercel hosts the site. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count visits. They do not use cookies and they do not collect your name, phone, or email.
- Base44 stores your request in our customer system so our team can call you back.
- Resend delivers email: a copy of your request to Nuvia staff, and a confirmation to you when you included an email address.
- Google Analytics measures which pages are visited. Google Ads: if you arrive from a Google ad, we store the click ID with your request so we can tell which ads lead to requests, and the site can report that request back to Google Ads.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures which ads lead to requests and can use that to show our ads to people likely to want them. The pixel does not receive your name, phone, or email from the browser. When you have not declined cookies, the site can also send Meta a hashed phone number, ZIP code, and name from our server, with the same event ID, so the request is counted once.
- Microsoft Clarity shows us where visitors get stuck on a page, including clicks and scrolling. It loads only if you tap Accept. It stays off if you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
We do not sell your personal information for money. California law treats sending browsing data to advertising platforms such as Google and Meta as sharing for cross-context advertising. You can stop that at any time (see below).
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
Cookies and advertising choices
A banner asks you to Accept or Decline cookies used for analytics and ads. Your Privacy Choices, at the bottom of any page, reopens that banner. Decline turns off Google, Meta, and Clarity on that browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Decline. Microsoft Clarity stays off unless you tap Accept.
You can also use the opt-out tools those companies offer:
- Google Ads settings
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Meta ad preferences
- Network Advertising Initiative opt-out
- Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out
Your choice is stored in your browser only. We do not send that choice to an outside server.
Your California rights
If you are a California resident, you can ask us to:
- Know the personal information we hold about you, and the categories we collected, used, and shared.
- Delete that information, except records the law lets us keep.
- Correct personal information that is wrong.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context advertising.
Email info@nuviawater.com or call (951) 734-7400. We will confirm who you are before we act. Someone else may ask for you if you give them written permission. We will not charge a different price, or give a different level of service, because you used these rights.
The fastest way to opt out of sharing browsing data with Google and Meta is Your Privacy Choices, then Decline, or a Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit who at Nuvia can see your information. No system is perfectly secure. Please do not send sensitive information through forms or text messages.
How long we keep it
We keep request and customer records as long as we need them to serve you, honor a warranty, and meet tax and legal record rules. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top of this page.
