What we collect
What you send us. When you fill out a form, we get your name, phone number, ZIP code, and anything else you choose to add: email, a note, or the day and time that suit you for a visit. If you text us, we get your message and your phone number.
What your browser sends. Like most sites, ours records the pages you visit, the site or ad that sent you, your device and browser type, a rough location based on your IP address, and ad click IDs. Some of this is collected with cookies (small files your browser stores).
We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or health information on this site.
How we use it
- To call or text you about your request, schedule your free water analysis, and give you a quote.
- To support existing customers: filter orders and service.
- To see which pages and ads work, so we spend less showing ads to people who would not want them.
- To keep the site running and to block spam.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the business:
- Vercel: hosts the site and counts visits without cookies (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights)
- Our customer system (Base44): stores your request so our team can call you back
- Housecall Pro: our scheduling and customer-messaging system
- Google (Analytics, Ads): measures site visits and which ads lead to requests
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram): measures which ads lead to requests, and shows our ads to people likely to want them
- Microsoft Clarity: shows us where visitors get stuck on a page. Loads only if you tap Accept. Form fields are hidden from it
We do not sell your information for money. California law counts sending browsing data to ad platforms like Meta and Google as "sharing" for advertising. You can stop it at any time (see below). We do not share your phone number with anyone for their own marketing, and we never share text-message consent with third parties.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
Your choices
Cookies. Tap Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of any page, then Decline. That turns off Google, Meta and Clarity on that device. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Decline automatically.
Calls and texts. Reply STOP to any text from us, or ask us to stop calling. Agreeing to calls or texts is never required to buy.
Your California rights. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and opt out of sharing. Email info@nuviawater.com or call (951) 734-7400. We will confirm who you are before we act, and we will not treat you differently for asking. You can have someone act for you with your written permission.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and request records as long as we need them to serve you, honor your warranty, and meet tax and legal record rules. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit who on our team can see your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information through forms or text messages.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
